Our comprehensive monitoring tool includes a singular URL, CPU, RAM, Disk, and DB monitoring system, actively overseeing your server resources alongside a designated URL monitor. This proactive monitoring system keeps a constant watch on your service resource thresholds and quickly addresses any alerts that surpass normal operational levels, guaranteeing optimal uptime and rapid issue resolution.

For customers that have Enterprise +, Ultimate, or Managed Services – we deep dive into why alerts go off and research the root cause.

If a customer has Standard we clear the issue with a reboot or restart the service and root cause analysis is then performed by the customer.

Automated updates are handles through Microsoft's Update Manager and will be applied after a server reboot. We will work with you to setup your process and schedule any reboots.

Monitoring of your systems and addressing any issues after applying updates will depend on your support package.

xByte will promptly inform our customers about Severity 1 and Critical Security Updates. Upon request from the customer, we will update ColdFusion software.

For customers with a separate development server, we will first perform updates to the development server to allow for testing without impacting production.

Email

• Our email solutions cater to personal user emails.
• There is an included management fee.
• We do not support bulk emails, newsletters, or promotional emails. We suggest solutions such as Postmark or Mailchimp for bulk emails.
• You will need to delist the server IP if it becomes blocked at a provider. We offer IP delisting as a $15 one-time service.
• We have a $350 one-time cleanup fee if your IP becomes blacklisted.

Windows/SQL Tasks

For Enterprise+ customers, xByte will perform up 1 hour of monthly assistance in performing adminstrative activities around FTP, IIS, SQL. Examples include creating users and databases or configuring options. Anything above 1 hour may be subject to billing at the current hourly rate for services. Approval will be required before any paid services are performed.

• We do not offer adminstrative services for non xByte licensed products. For Enterprise+ customers, if there is a server issue related to third party softeware, we will do our best effort to troubleshoot server issues.

Utilize Microsoft’s Built-in Update Configuration:
Customers can set up updates and server restarts using Microsoft's built-in configurator. In case of any setup issues, our engineers are available to assist in setting up the configurator.

Managed Upgrades - Worry-Free Updates:
Our Managed Upgrades solution is designed for customers seeking worry-free, recurring scheduled updates. This service, named Managed Upgrades, aligns updates with Microsoft's Patch Tuesday. Pricing varies based on the number of servers under your account.

Overview: Our xByte Patch Dates are meticulously scheduled to ensure Microsoft Patch Tuesday undergoes thorough vetting for at least 15 days before implementing the updates on our customers' servers. Microsoft regularly releases updates on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, known as Patch Tuesday. Consequently, xByte schedules our updates on the 1st Monday or Thursday of each month, allowing ample time to address any bugs or fixes associated with the new updates before deploying them to your server. We have specific times allocated by xByte for these updated procedures.
